Crafted from titanium, she is both resilient and graceful, her form designed to embody Enlightenment itself. The Titanium Angel is symbolic of the Court’s ideals, standing as a reminder of the balance between strength and elegance, function and artistry. She is not only a marvel of engineering but a symbol of the Court’s highest aspirations, a manifestation of purpose and vision in mechanical form.

DEVELOPING THE TITANIUM ANGEL

The journey to The Titanium Angel, the central masterpiece of Trevor Jones' Steampunk series, began in 2021 with a commission for two paintings: Mission to the Heavens and The Steampunk Bull. These initial works explored the interconnected themes of financial markets, technological innovation, and humanity's pursuit of the stars, weaving in the visionary achievements and challenges of Tesla, SpaceX, and Elon Musk, a figure emblematic of ambition and controversy. At their core, they reflect the timeless struggle between light and darkness, progress and resistance.

Inspired by Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment, Trevor envisioned a story that transcends time, weaving together the echoes of the past with aspirations for the future. This tale celebrates innovation while confronting the forces of opposition—dark currents that threaten progress and the delicate balance between chaos and creation.
